Installing Vista on an SSD?

Can I clone my OS which is on a HDD & migrate to an SSD?

If its not a good idea, can any mods or patches fix it?

From what I have read on the web, Macrium Reflect can do it. It says "direct disk cloning" in the free edition. That leads me to believe you can do it provided C: can fit on the SSD.
