Keyboard problems

Hi folks. My keyboard is notworking properly, i can type words, but the numbers are not working, I keep getting this popup box saying guarded id keyboard driver is not working, driver is not responding, guarded id is now turned off, I went into device manager and it said the drivers are up to date, any help would be appreciated thanks, Patch41

Guarded ID is a type of security protection. Type that in search, by the start button, and see if you have that software.
GuardedID® – Next Generation Security - Keylogger Protection, Keystroke Encryption, Anti Keylogger
If you do have that software. First we check for malware and or virus or spyware.

Hi Rich, It is some kind of a key locker, It comes with norton, its something new they added with xfinity, I did have some kind of a virus yesterday which i got rid of, but you would think they would give you some kind of a clue on how to straighten the keyboard out again, I went into programs and deleted it, and everything seems fine, Thanks again rich...patch41

To be safe, run a full anti virus scan
Run a full malwarebytes scan and download and run a full scan with
super anti spyblaster. Just want to be sure that that virus or spyware is gone. My big concern is a keylogger.
Lets be sure patch. Dont want you to be sorry later on. If all checks out ok, you are good to go.
