Laptop Question

Hi Again! I have another laptop. The screen is completely destroyed. And the CD drive is pulled out. Is there a way to test if the laptop still works?

Anything I can do to test it?

I have a monitor. I just didn't want to pull it out. I'll try it.

You may need to change BIOS setting for exteral monitor.

check whats the funtion to make it display to an external monitor.. perhaps "fn +F1" Should help..

2GB is the minimum stick size to run Linux on it.

On my stick it uses 690 MBs. So it should work with a 1GB stick.

Nope, specifies on most all of how-to's it has to be a min of 2gb.

I don`t know from where you get that. I am looking right at the properties of my working Fedora stick. And that says 690MBs. Sorry. But a 2GB stick is OK too. At the low prices of those things, it should not make any difference.
