Last Vista update killed printing JPG files

The last automatic Microsoft Vista update killed the ability to print JPG and PNG files on Canon iP2600 printer.
I have downloaded the latest Canon iP 2600 2.15 driver for Vista but I can still not print JPG of PNG files.
I can print these images as native files from Paint, LibreOffice, Solidworks and other graphics programs but as soon as I save the file as a JPG of PNG file the printer goes through the motion but produces only a blank paper.
Does anybody have a suggestion ??

Welcome
With system restore go back to a few days before the updates.
Then install one at a time to test.

Thank you very much.

I just tried System Restore to a date before last Windows update: "Unable to complete restore... System and files unchanged".

So I tried again to same date: "Unable to complete restore... System and files unchanged".

So I tried again to an earlier date: "Unable to complete restore... System and files unchanged".

So I tried again to same earlier date: "Unable to complete restore... System and files unchanged".

Quick scan as well as full scan with Malwarebytes found no virus or malware.
Vista still refuses to go back to an earlier configuration.
Vista refuses to print all forms of dot matrix images, JPG, PNG and Tiff but prints all native image formats from SolidWorks, Photoshop, Paint, LibreOffice etc.

Even if we could force Vista back to an earlier configuration, what is the point, since the next update probably would bring back the problem, unless Vista-Canon resolve their differences.
