hi..
im currently running windows vista home premium sp2 with kaspersky internet security 2011..
1) i got 2 administrator account but i already delete it so on log on there will be only 1 user account right..but it turn out that only my deleted account appear but when i log in, my undeleted account profile appear..it seem that i success deleted the old account..right now i want to know how to change the user name at log on screen(for your information i already change it in user account name at control panel)it did't change at log on..so what should i do?
2) my other problems is when i start windows on, password error appear at log on(only X icon appear and it tell me that Password Error with OK btton below)..and i press enter then log on appear like always(username,password)..at log on under the password bar it always show (reset password)..but when i enter my new password it seem ok and i can log on..so why this happens?
For your information this 2 problems occurs at the same time and i did't solve it until now..

i already run (sfc /scannow), virus scan, registry cleaner(tune up 2011),ccleaner,auslogics registry cleaner and nothing change..

i hope you all can help me..i hope you understand what i write because english is not my 1st language..

Welcome to Vista Forums!

For the username problem, given that the correct way isn't working, it is possible that the only way to change this is to treat the account as if it were corrupt and create a new account with the name you want (you may have to change the username of the old account in Control Panel to allow a new one to be created with the name you prefer as it won't accept two with the same name). Then use the following to fix the problem: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile.

I'm hoping this procedures will also fix the password problem. If not, it may be the password expiration policy. The following tutorial might help if that is the problem: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/96092-password-expiration-vista.html.

thanks you so much for reply..i did what u ask me..
i have 1 acc. only so i make another 2..
the first acc. i create as administrator acc and the other on is a standard..so now i have 3 acc..
i restart my laptop an log on at old account..
so i follow the link that you ask me to and did what it told..
but when it come to copy files to the new user profile i cant fine certain file that is
* Ntuser.dat.log
*Ntusers.ini
but i found only *Ntuser.dat...
so what should i do now?
please look at the attachment files..i pu some picture from my c drive..
