Sorry if this is in the wrong board, but since it has an icon of a monitor, I felt like it should be posted here. So move it if you wish.
Anyway, my monitor blacks out of power when it wants to. It makes a puffing and crackling noise in my headphones, and eventually makes a pop sound when it starts working again. Sometimes it was just about to show the screen again, but then blacks out. The power button goes on and off and on and off, and I try forcing the monitor power cable into the monitor, but it just dosen't work.
Now it's not working at all, it's making no effort to try and bring back the screen. My monitor name can be seen in my system specs, and it was made in 2003, so I guess it might be age, but still works perfectly with my Vista.
