Motion Eye webcam not recognized after clean instal

Hi,
I just installed Vista Home Edition 64x on my Sony Vaio VPCS12X9E.
Everything works fine after hard work finding drivers (sony never made drivers for vista).
However I now just discovered that my built in webcam refuses to work.
I tried using the XP driver for this, but I get an error saying that the webcam can't be found.
I'm not sure if this is a driver problem. I just don't know.
I was hoping maybe you could help?

I already have the Arcsoft companion installed, however it states that it can't find a webcam or that it can't connect to it.

Do you have the software updater installed

Sony : VPCS12X9E/B updates | Download updates for VPCS12X9E B | VPCS12X9EB

You can try & install it from the download from above link..
