Solved MSOutlook Appcrash

Hi, Outlook (OfficePro 2007) opens and briefly displays diary events etc, but then crashes about 30sec after booting and, it would appear, during the process of sending outbound email. My inbound email is received but obviuosly can't be accessed because of the short 30sec window.
Some interventions I've tried:
1. Uninstall/reinstall MSOfficePro (twice).
2. Run Uniblue registry fix (twice).
3. Run Scanpst (twice).
4. Ensured no disc space issue.
5. Terminated other apps to create as stand-alone as possible in case of contention.
6. Checked web and seen that similar issues occured fairly far back (2008/9) but no new resolution offered.
Any useful assitance is welcomed.
O/s=Vista Home Premium (32bit).

Tks. Went back to before an autoupdate of Windows by MS. When I started Outlook without web connectivity it holds it's own. However, once I connect again and it starts to send mail it crashes again.

Did the clean boot trick and after reboot Outlook still crashes after kicking off the receiving email process. Just to confirm, by itself it appears to be ok but once it starts to receive mail it crashes.
I have also in the interim downloaded Windows updates to ensure latest.

A stuck mail could be the problem since I have an increasing inbox with the same two emails recurring. OL97 instructs to run Inbox Repair (scanpst?) which I've done previously.
In the interim, I've archived emails to created more space (just in case) and deleted a bunch of recurring incoming mails (jic); checked that ISP server is ok to ensure we're looking at a local issue. Mails are still being forwarded to my blackberry. Outlook still crashing once I connect to send/receive mails.
