Why would my printer scan & copy, but not print? When I send a command to print, the printer just sends the paper through blank. My first attachment shows a printing window that lists the Canon MP600 Printer and Microsoft XPS Document Writer. My second attachment shows a printing window that lists the above two printers and an option to Add a printer. I'd like someone to telll me if this is how they should look. Also, where you think I can find my printer driver information in my computer.

From a post at the thread in your link:
With Vista it may be device manager in lieu of devices and printers.
I just want to add that is listed under Imaging Devices. I do need to update the drivers, Context menu > Properties > Drivers tab, but I'm not sure how. I download the drivers from the website and have extracted the zip file. there are three folders: Driver, DrvSetup, and README. Ataached are the contents of the first two:

Try to uninstall the drivers. Then boot the computer, be sure to be online. Lets see if the driver gets installed.
If it does not, use your DVD that came with the printer.
If you do not have one, try using imaging devices to update the driver.

I had similar issues so I went into Device Manage and deleted all printers.
Then unplugged all cables and usb from printer to computer.
Reboot the computer
Then plug in USB and all cables to printer.
Vista, if like Windows 7, will see something being added to your computer and just follow the directions for the printer to run a test page.

Post back if more help needed.
