No internet connection

I am unable to connect to the internet via wireless or Ethernet cable. but I am able to connect in safe mode. I have updated the network drivers, changed the settings on my router and disabled the security. I have disabled the global autotuning level. when ever I use the diagnose connection problems, I get "Turn off the TCP setting that is not compatible with your router" I do that and still nothing. Any Ideas what the issue is other than the fact that is an HP.
