didn't know what to write
i have an acer 5735z (european) and recently reinstalled vista. performance has slowed down on gaming and aero performance. i have givin up on trying to find the fault and am now considering buying a graphics card. i am a kid so am waiting until christmas and ma birthday to get money. i reckon my budget would be £150 to £200. any recommendations? have been lookin at nvidia and amd and lookin the like of the ati radeon and geforce series.

when i said was lookin in nvidia, i did look at the gtx series. i don't care if one uses more power or not, i keep my lappy plugged in at all times! and i don't pay electricity bills
lol
i haven't heard of the HD4890 or HD5000
if the hd5000 costs over £250 i will go to the gtx275
how can i tell if my psu (does psu mean Power Supply Unit?)is up to it? do you need a certain voltage?
thing is, where can i buy the card? are there any markets i could go to in dorset to see the card? if not, it is trial and error buying online.
