I am an experienced computer but I dislike Windows Vista. I have it installed on an Acer 5610 laptop with Windows Viata Home Premium, 32 bit OS. It has an Intel Pentium T2060 dual core processor, 1 GB DDR@ memory and an operating speed of 1.6 Ghz. I've tried to get the "True" administrator account, turned off User Account Control, tried different users but I still have the same problem. I'm allowed to download a program (Windows VB Express 2010 was the last) but when I try to open a folder I get "You Don't Have Suffecient Permission To Access This Program". I take ownership and I can get in the folder but not the next. I keep taking ownership until I get to the exe file and then it won't let me run it. In frustration I go to Control Panel to remove the program and guess what. I don't have permission to delete the file I put on the computer. How can I make this thing operate like a normal computer and let me run programs I install?
