I am considered an idea to go from Xp to Windows Vista. My configuration is:
Cpu: Athlon dual core 5000+ black edition
Gpu: Ati radeon 3850 512Mb gddr3
Memory: 2048Mb Kingston Xyper X 2N/2G on 1066Mghz
On Xp (Sp 2) I play S.t.a.l.k.e.r - Call of prypiat on 1680-1050 resolution with maximum graphic settings, so it is the question how it gonna work on Vista business 32-bit or or on Vista Ultimate 64-bit??? please answer if you have any ideas on my email : REMOVED Thank you:D

Not familiar with your game, but in general, Windows7 may be a better choice in terms of performance.

you're fine to go to win vista, but windows 7 will give you better performance.

Windows 7 64 bit. Windows 7 does give you better performance, and less lockups than Vista. If you aren't a wiz at computer Operating Systems, go with Windows 7...

LOL, I don't play any games at all. I have deleted them all - even stuff like Hearts.
