Hello Forum,

I've been crashing a lot lately and getting BSODs, especially while playing battlefield 3. I just updated my video card drivers to their latest version, so outdated software should be out of the question. Here is the summary i got from windows after i log back in. Can anyone please tell me whats wrong? Any help is appreciated! :)

I'm running a legit copy of vista 64 bit ultimate and its the original and only OS on the machine

wow, i read that article regarding the code 124 error and overclocking/pushing components came up quite a few times. i guess 3.6GHz might be a bit too much for the CPU...

Code 124 is one of the most difficult to diagnose. All we know from the reports is that it is hardware.
I would not over clock.
Test hard drive
Test Memory.

If none of those tests work, try the other tests that are shown in my posts.

i brought the clock down from 3.6GHz to 3.2GHz. Still an overclock from the 3.0GHz, but it seems to be running stable now. No more crashes from playing battlefield 3. I suppose I'll let it run at 3.2GHz until i run into problems again. Thanks for your help though richc46! :)
