Printing Problems

This is probably an old question,every time i send from my Compaq pc to my hp printer it prints 3x the amount that is asked for.All are on a wireless connection and its driving me potty.You have to quickly cancel the documents every time.
Any help would be appreciated

Also why does my laptop suddenly seem to freeze meaning i have to reboot it to get back on the internet.

Im not great on these pc things

Printer prob: Click Start>control panel>printers. Right click on the printer with the Green arrow. Under Pages per sheet, it should be 1.
laptop freezing could be anything.
Download Ccleaner ( google it ) and run it . Then run Diskclean folowed by Defrag.( Both found under Start>all programs>accessories. After that reboot your comp twice.
