Problem with Computer

i need help


my friend (Katrina) has got hold of a computer in the parts of a colleague. She has put together all the parts right, but we still do not get on the computer.
The computer parts that Katrina got hold of are as follows:
 A typical ATX midi-tower chassis.
 A motherboard with an AM3 socket, which must include integrated audio and network card, 4 SATA ports, and a 16x PCIe port
 A PCIe video card
 Two 3.5 "SATA hard drives
 A SATA DVD Drive
 A AMD Athlon processor
 As well as peripherals such as cables, monitor, mouse, and keyboard.
What might have gone wrong? and provide thorough and detailed proposals on how the Katrina can cause computer to function.
