Problem with vista and voip phone

Hi there
Lately I bought a voip phone I had a lot of problems connecting it to vista, now I can see the skype contacts and dial through the phone but the second its ring I can only hear and speak through the computer although the computer recognize the phone mic/speaker in the sound window. Any suggestions?

Its been a long while since I have used skype, but isn't there a setting in one of the options screens to set the prefered device?

Thank you very much z3r010 , now i can call and talk from the voip phone, only problem left is that when someone is calling me there's no ring at the phone only at the computer, although I set it to ring in the options. Any suggestions? Thanks again.. Ifoma
