Hello

I have a problem everytime I click my mouse when closing anything the mouse flash's the hour glass at the tip of the mouse and the bottom on my screen flash's a lot and can see the desktop for a second or so and it is getting worse everytime I click to leave the net or any programs encluding the forum. Any help would great, thanks to all..

you have way more expericns than me buddy, somy advise will prolly not help u much, but if it was me id prolly just do a restore point, and see if that works, if that didnt work, id come ask you guys, lol hope u get it figg, nice to tlk to u again 2 it has been a lil while.

I did a full factory restore about 4 months back and it was doing it then also, I know it can't be the mouse it has to be somehwere within the system, but thank you very much for your kind help on this matter, and if you have or find something that can help please re-post me...

As per your statement, in my opinion it sounds more like a vista aero description. Disable aero and check it.

Hello

I am using a Microsoft wireless mouse 5000...

I have had this problem for about 4 months then I did a complete factory restore...

But I had this problem before that to but not near as bad...

The last 2 weeks it has been the worse...

Have you tried to Reinstall the Drivers? Or change the Cursor

Try reloading the Microsoft Driver again or reset the mouse settings to default.

Do you use any "speed up my computer" type of software? these can cause strange mouse behavior.
Have you scanned for malware?

Try with a clean boot and see if the problem persists.

In the past 6 days I have done:

1. Done a full AV scan using Kaspersky internet security. None Found

2. Ran a full updated scan using malwarebytes. None Found

3. I have uninstalled the mouse software, then used my wrie mouse to reboot. No change it still does it...

4. I have uninstalled the driver and downloaded updated drive from M/S

5. Some things I do just to make sure, today I ran a full disk check, no problems found...

6. I never used it without it being the default, installed it and ran as is...

7. A couple of weeks back my IE8 had a BSOD it stopped running and said it had to close so no damage would be done to the computer or something along those lines. Forgot about that one..

Oh and I have never used anything to spped up my system just what's in it...

Ok mouse is worse and does it in safe mode also, any more suggestions, the mouse when exiting and hovering will blink the hour glass real fast like a fluttering...

Did you try a sfc scan. I have to say It sounds like malware or an incorrect driver to me.

I had just finished a full scan using malwarebytes before I posted, plus all the others I did over the last few days, there are no yellow warning flags next to any drivers. I am at a loss...

This may sound crazy but it is worth a try.
Go to control panel under accessibility options
There is an option for the mouse to blink for people
that can not hear.
Atleast see what the setting are.
It is worth a try.

Hello I think we have found the problem bad mouse why. I went in to the wireless software and it was not set as default, so i reset it and went on with business, well it started doing it again and I went back and it reset it's self again to a cursor with the hour glass I rest it again and you know the reset I will be going to the store tomorrow to get a new mouse, all the hours and things I did and it turns out to be this.. Thank you everyone for your help and someone needs to mark this as solved.
