reinstall vista

I reinstalled vista in my laptop and now I have 2 vistas. It didn't erase the old copy vista, my programs and documents. I want the new download. How do I erase the old one?

It sounds as if you've forgotten to format the drive prior to installing Windows. Try following this tutorial:

Welcome
If you have two Operating Systems, you did not install correctly. I would start over and follow these directions to install. Be sure to follow the instuctions for format. This will remove everything and replace it with the new Operating System
