Saving Files

Got Microsoft Home Student 2010 working. However I notice that when I save a word document, after nameing it, in the "save type" box it's not gvivng me the option to save as text, pdf, html, etc. Is there a way to change this?

When you click the file button then save it should bring up a Save As... box

Then you should be able to select the file type to save it in

   Note

I have Office 2007 so it may be slightly different

Yes 2007 is different. As per my first post, 2010 is not giving that option. I'm just wondering if there is some sort of option that I am over looking.

You may need to drag the sidebar on the Safe file type drop down menu

Shawdowjk...Thanks for the help. Got a question for ya. Can you send me the link that will take me directly to microsoft office 2007? When I google it or go to the microsoft web site and put in the search for 2007, I get everything but what I am looking for. Anything from Abiword to Open Office. Both are great but not what I am looking for. I am looking for a link that will take me directly to office 2007.

Unfortunately on Microsofts website Office 2007 is Not available anymore however you may find Office 2007 if you search for it on Google Shopper or look at your local PC Shop
