Hi guys,
I have a client running Small Business Server 2008, their problem is their tape drive - HP Storageworks DAT 160,
They are running Backup executive 12 and they put in their tape every night, it backs up fine and pops out after it finishes its backup, they get in, in the morning and replace the tape with the next nights' tape, that's fine. But now the tape ejects itself during the day for no reason, its not so much a problem for me, but my client doesnt like having to go in and push the tape in again.
This only started happening in the last month or so, checked the eventviewer - nothing related, run the cleaning tape a few times now.
Any ideas? - and Im not going to change the drivers, because the tape drive is working, does anyone know if there is a setting in windows that would be the catalyst for this happening?
