Startup Repair Cannot Repair

I was having problems with some sort of malware on my computer and was using another forum to help me get rid of it. All my problems seemed to have been fixed (malware wise) and my computer was running back to normal. I was suggested to update my Adobe Reader so I did just that. The Adobe installer prompted me to restart my computer so I did. After that reboot, I keep getting Startup Repair messages. I cannot boot up in normal or safe mode and get the same message everytime I try. When I run the repair, I get this:

Startup Repair
Your computer was unable to start. Startup Repair is checking your system for problems...
If problems are found, startup repair will fix them automatically. Your computer might restart several times during this process. No changes will be made to your personal files or information. This might take several minutes.
Startup repair cannot repair this computer automatically.

Since my computer did not come with a Vista DVD, I managed to download one and tried the "repair your computer" option on it. It gives me the message: "Startup Repair could not detect a problem." Feeling desperate, I also tried to use the Install Now option and after entering my product key, I got the message below:

Installation was cancelled.
Windows cannot open the required file D:\Sources\Install.wim. The file does not exist. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error Code: 0x80070002

I have access to another computer so if theres anything I can do to resolve this, help is very well appreciated!

Yes, I used Ubuntu to backup. I hit F10 and got the following:

Edit Windows boot options for: Start VAIO Recovery Center
Path: \windows\system32\boot\winload.exe
[ /DETECTHAL /MININT RDIMAGEOFFSET=8192 RDIMAGELENGTH=3161088 RDPATH=mult
i(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\SOURCES\vrc.wim

It gives me the option to ENTER=Submit or ESC=Cancel.

Enter
If you do everything will be gone. Its like the day you bought it. No SPs, documents etc.
