Suggestions for monitor "management"????

Hello all - I was curious if anyone has any recommendation to better manage my monitor setup. I have a PC that I use for both gaming and VMC. The PC is connected to a 21" LCD monitor as well as a 50" HDTV plasma. The PC and LCD are always on, but I obviously dont have the plasma on 24/7. Using nVidia Control Panel, I can easily setup the plasma for VMC use, but when I change to a different input or turn the plasma off, I have to manually configure the plasma the next time I want to use VMC.
In a perfect world, I think it would be great if I could turn the plasma on, switch it to the VMC "input" and see my VMC desktop with additional PC configuration.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried UltraMon (free to try)? Realtime Soft UltraMon
Make sure you grab the beta version (3.0.2) as it was built for Vista (and is very stable).

I think its feature that allows you to create different "display profiles" may be just what you are looking for. UltraMon Features - Display profiles

FWIW - I've used UltraMon both of my multi-monitor rigs for a few years now. It's miles better than using Windows to control multiple displays. And well worth the US $40 IMHO.
