Solved System Restore

Evening all,

I could do with some more advice/help

I down loaded a free AVG tune up programme recently, but now keeps giving me pop ups saying 'programme has stop working' I get thirty two of these annoying messages everytime I start my computer

I've tried deleting the programme but to no avail, now I'm trying the Back up and Restore Center and System Restore but I can't get a restore date early enough to remove the AVG programme ?

Is there a manual way of inputing a date of my choosing ?

IIRC there is a checkbox in system restore window to show you restore points older than 5 days.

If it doesn't show them - you haven't got them.

Hi Slowpoke, Click on the link, it will take you to AVG uninstall site, pick which ever uninstall tool relates to you
32-bit or 64 bit download it and then run it good luck,

Thanks for the reply Patch41, it looked promising............ alas
My problems are;
AVG 1 click maintinance,
AVG PC tuneup,
pop ups are telling me
AVG System Check has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop
working corrrecly.
Windows will close the program and notify
you if a solution is available.
