Solved Task Manager Problem

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium

I am unsure as to how to fix Task Manager. The Menu items and the Tabs are gone (upper orange box in image) and the only way to close Task Manager is to right-click on the Task Manager icon in the ash tray and select close (lower orange box in image).



Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

The Task Manager is running in "tiny footprint mode". To correct this, simply double-click on the border around the Windows and it will return to its normal state.

Thanks Arvinwebb, it works.

I feel stupid and annoyed at the same time. Why would Microsoft not put a right-click option list to restore it? Would make it more obvious and much easier for the users.
