thumbnails not showing

I suppose double check to make sure that thumbnail previews is turned on using the tutorial below.

Ensure that Always show icons, never thumbnails is unchecked, as shown in the image at the end of the Tutorial.

i had this problem before; dwarfs post is the solution.

Shawn's Tutorial shows other methods of achieving the same thing. My reply was, in essence, Method One in that Tutorial.
