TP-Link Archer T3U Plus - vista drivers ?

Hello guys, last year i made myself a nostalgia PC with the ultimate XP components (fully supported)

this year, I decided to add windows vista beside my windows xp.. so far so good during instalation but I found some things that really don't make sense for me.

I have 2 components which are supported on XP, 7, 8, 10 but not vista, why ?

I've got intel i7 3770K which is an Ivy Bridge architecture (I heard I could install windows 7 drivers but still)
and a TP-Link Archer T3U Plus, the problem is that I really need wifi, yet I cant install this driver - windows 7 drivers are not compatible, and the ones from windows XP 64bit don't work properly (I can see the networks but I cant connect to them)

is there a way to make the TP-Link Archer T3U Plus work ? i searched for 3rd party drivers yet nothing...

When I look here- Download for Archer T3U | TP-Link and at the specs, it's mysterious why it's supported in XP and then skips Vista and goes to Win 7, etc. You might try installing it in XP compatibility mode. The driver is supposed to support both 32bit and 64 bit. Strange that it says the interface is USB 3 when I don't think that existed when XP came out. I guess that's to accomodate the later Windows systems mobos.

In Control Panel, Network and Sharing, select Network Connections. Are there local network connections? If so, click on one and then select "Diagnose this connection" in the task bar.

The TPLink Archer T3U Plus appears to use Realtek USB wlan/wifi drivers (I had to use the portable uniextract2 tool to "extract" the driver files inside some of those exe setup files)

TP-Link chose not to include Vista based drivers since the Archer T3U Plus was released in either late 2017 or early 2018 and Vista was barely EOL at that time (in other words, it's the manufacturer's decision to exclude Vista so ask them why Vista support was left out).

try the following Realtek usb wlan/wifi driver versions from Station Drivers and see if those drivers will work for the TPLink Archer T3U Plus on Vista (these versions do bundle Vista specific wlan/wifi drivers):

v1030.31.0102.2018
v1030.21.0302.2017
v1030.06.1201.2015

unfortunately none of those versions help..

oh well
I guess that's why the manufacturer did not include vista based drivers in the first place for their hardware
