Trouble streaming HULU with Vista on my laptop

Hey guys,
I've had the vista os for several years now, and I realize it's being phased into obselescence---if it hasn't already happened. I can still watch Netflix, but I'm unable to watch Hulu, ever since my roommate re-installed the service a few months ago. The sound track is way out of line with the visual. Is there a browser I can switch to or some kind of work around I can use? Any advice appreciated. --Rachel

Me again. Or, perhaps you could direct me to another forum-type site where I might have better luck? I'm really bumming out not being able to watch hulu.

townsbg, this is a good idea, and I will look further at this site. I think I might need some kind of work-around?

I don't seem to be able to download a current enough browser--due to my obselete os. I'm using
Chrome 49.0.2623.112 m

What would really be good is a new machine, one where the operating system doesn't take up 98% of the C drive!

It appears that Hulu now requires Windows 7 or above (https://help.hulu.com/en-us/supported-computers). The only major browser that still supports Vista is Firefox ESR 52.

THANK YOU for this information! I do have a version of firefox, which I've tried to use to stream hulu and netflix, but with no luck so far. I will see if I can install ESR 52 on my machine.
