Have a friends Vista machine here for a clean up and I cannot get onto th net.
She uses a satellite connection and I am on ADSL+2 and I cannot do anything until I can get hooked up and I don't quite know where to start.
I am wondering if I should run the driver for my modem / router and see if it will connect me up - to the TP-Link W8960n?
Am not terribly good when it comes to this stuff so any advice please would be most welcome.
Modem had gone ape
and cost me $99 for a ISP tech to put it right!
