TV was working but now its not

Hi, just got my new desktop last night. i installed at Tv tuner and its driver. I hooked it up and i was watching tv. This morning however, it wont work. I open up windows media center and when i click on tv or previously recorded or anything that plays video it just freezes.

Hi ChasY. What sort of Card are you using. Are you using Media centre. Firstly check your card is seated properly if you've just installed it. You can probably get the card to work again by going into Media Center and re-scanning the channels. Media center has an issue with some cards and the very highest channels. If it tries to read a channel it can't recognise it freezes and seems to lock onto that channel. Every time you restart Media Center it remains locked to that channel and freezes, until you rescan.
