UAC good but annoying

Is there any way of disabling UAC for the administrator whilst still leaving it on for the rest of the world? When I have it on I get an annoying error message everytime I open Excel (something to do with adobe I think) also I have a database that saves the tables to an external hard drive every time I close the application but UAC stops this from happening.

Hi Keltic,

As Barman suggested you can change the UAC settings to Elevate without prompting, This will leave UAC enabled and auto-continue the prompts

Thanks Barman58 and dmex - good advice. I'm at work at the moment using Windows XP but I will try out the 'Elevated Admin' when I get home.
