Unable to sign into messenger Error code 8700700e

Iam trying to sign into windows messenger but tells me that it is unavailable
due to error code 870000e been trying for about five days to cure it but no luck so far. Anybody out there with any answers PLEASE

should probably call microsoft. I just googled it and zero information. have you tried un-installing then re-installing messenger?

In my opinion the best way would be remove completely Live Messenger very exactly by using ZapMessenger http://messenger.jonathankay.com/redir/zapmessenger.asp
and then reinstall Live Messenger again
