Solved Vista 32 Bit and IE 9

Hi All
Cant download IE9 as keep getting message that Service Pack 2 is not installed, but cant seem to find 32 bit download. Any helpmuch appreciated, thanks.

All you need to do is to set the WindowsUpdater to install new updates
Learn how to install Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (SP2)

or do it manually

(for 32 bit) x86 is 32 bit

Thanks for reply. Im set to auto updates but cant download the service pack I need to get IE9

Cant you use the manual link that I gave you? X86 is 32 bit.

Crap... did your computer come with only Vista? not sp1?

I've seen this before, where non sp1 vista has issue auto updatimg to sp2, and has to be done through the link rich provided.

All sorted now, managed to download sp1 & sp2, the IE9. Many thanks for your help.

Make a clean boot to see if you can identify the problem
