Vista 64bit running ieuser.exe * 32....

I'm using 64 bit vista and i just finished converting WMP to 64 bit (the default version is 32 bit) and i noticed that in my list of processes, i'm running ieuser.exe * 32. I'm pretty sure this is my internet explorer but why is it running in 32 bit and how can i change it to 64 bit?

Hi schwizer,

Vista 64 uses the 32-bit of IE7 by default also. There are currently no version of Flash player and some other key add-ons for the 64 bit IE7 only for the 32-bit version.

To run 64-bit IE7 anyway, run the shortcut in your start menu - All Programs. There should be one there by default. If not, the location is C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe & just make your own shortcut. I wouldn't recommend setting 64-bit as default IE7 until they came out with a Flash Player for it.

There is still no 64-bit Flash Player, since Adobe took over macromedia they do almost nothing for 64-bit OSs.
