Vista will not boot

I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find my exact problem. I can't get all the specs for the computer because I can't get it on at all.
Its Vista Home Premium on a Toshiba Satellite P205. I reset it to factory settings several times and it still gave me trouble. The last time I tried to boot it up, its stuck on the windows loading screen. I tried booting it from the recovery disks and nothing. I've tried safe mode, it won't go beyond the loading screen to get to anything tho. I'm at a real loss. I got tired of fooling with it & bought myself a new laptop but I want to get this one up and running for my husband. Its an awesome computer & I just spent $200 replacing the screen. I'd hate to junk it. Any suggestions are welcome...
