Where did my folders go?

Just yesterday the file list showing my folders (Inbox, Outbox, Sent, Saved, etc.) on the left of the active Windows Mail messages display pane disappeared. Mail otherwise opens normally showing and receiving messages in the Inbox. I've changed nothing on the system other than the normal Windows update patches. Where did they go and how do I get the display back so that I can access those files.

Go view>layout Make sure everything is set up the way you prefer. Good luck

I'm so embarassed. I went to View but didn't notice the obvious Layout choices. Thanks for your help. I'm still puzzled about how this may have changed though?

Please do not be embarassed. We all make mistakes and this one turned out to be a

benefit, as it introduced you to the best forum for information and help with Vista related

problems. Sometimes corruption or other little problems creep into the system, not to

worry, they can all be corrected.
