Windows 7 Upgrade...

Am I able to upgrade my Vista Ultimate (64-bit) with the "Windows 7 Professional (64-bit) upgrade disc?"

Or do I need to upgrade with the "Ultimate Upgrade disc?"

Hello Deception,

You cannot do a in-place upgrade install from Vista Ultimate to a Windows 7 Professional edition. It would have to be a Windows 7 Ultimate edition to do this option.

However you can do a clean or custom install with a retail upgrade Windows 7 Professional copy though.

Hello Deception, before you take the leap if you are a user of Windows mail it does not exist Windows 7.
I didnt know and now use Mozzilla Thunderbird, but you can transfer it from Vista to Seven thanks to a Tutorial Shawn has put together

lol when i first installed 7 i thought i had mucked up the install because windows mail wasnt there so i reinstalled. After the second time i decided to go to the forum which is what i should have done first
