Hi All,

I have a compaq presario cq50-110em laptop and over the last week it has started blue screening on me and happeing every ten minutes.

I had Windows 7 (x64 Ultimate) installed on the laptop and it was working fine for about 2 weeks before then started blue screening on me.

I have re-moved Windows 7 from the laptop and installed Windows Vista (x86 Ult) and it keeps doing the same.

Below is an example of the error message I have been getting and attached the erorr reports (I have since upgraded to SP2);

Welcome to the forums zelk
I can not find anything obvious however i would recommend clearing C'mos (BIOS) and loading optimal setting to see if that will help

Please zip up all of the Minidump files and include them with your next post. Often only one Minidump won't tell the full story (especially this kind) - but a bunch of them will give clues as to the culprit.

In this case you've got a STOP 0x124 message. More info on the error here:
BSOD Index
and here:
[2-Int] Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try - Windows 7 Forums

Also, you've got a whole pile of older drivers installed on the system. I'd suggest visiting this site and updating all of your drivers: Select software and drivers Compaq Presario CQ50-110EM Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)
Then visit Windows Update and install SP1, then install SP2.

If that doesn't fix it, then I'd suggest following the steps in the second link to troubleshoot the problem.
