Windows mail (Vista)

Can't send or receive emails in Windows Mail - get this error message:

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Adon Olam', Account: 'mail.comcast.net', Server: 'smtp.comcast.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Solution???

Are you sure that you set up all your information and port forwarding correctly? It looks like that may be an issue.

I'm not that computer savvy - don't understand your answer - have had this computer for over a year and until yesterday had no trouble at all!!!! Can you be more explicit?
