Xbox 360 won't detect Vista Media Center

My Xbox 360 won't detect Media Center on my Windows Vista x64 PC. It can detect the PC itself and stream music/photos/videos, but it can't detect Media Center. The PC recognizes the Xbox as a Media Center Extender. What is the problem? Thanks.

What anti virus do you have? And what firewall do you have?

Try disabling both and try using WMC Don't forget to re-enable them after doing it!

you need to have them both in a state to detect each other, open up media center on the Xbox 360, and it will prompt to enter an 8 digit code onto media center on the PC, open up media center on PC and go to tasks> add extender, enter the 8 digit code there and it should take a few minutes to set up, after that, you should be up and running.
