Italian Language Pack Install Fail

OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit SP2, US, all installed updates.

This is a long story.

Before SP2 install, Italian Language Pack used to work fine. To install SP2 I had to uninstall Language Pack.

After installed SP2 had to wait for additional language packs. Now they are officially released by Microsoft so I tryed to install them

I installed France, Dutch and Lituanian language packs with NO PROBLEM.

Italian language pack refuse to install.

Now Event Viewer report this error:

The Language Pack for it-IT has been disabled. Reason: 0x2000

Event ID: 1002

Thats all and thats crazy: why just THAT language pack wont install?

Make sure your current used language is english - if not restore to english

I always tryed all that, one of that link is related at at Vista OS even pre SP1.

And yes, my default language is english so I always install new language pack when english is current language.

I think the solution is in the log I posted then I'm not so skilled related with Language Pack to find a solution.

The log says " is not a language type package" although it is -errors 1002 ->instalation hangs from unidentify reason.I think just now try now workaround this problem

or if still will be problem use vistalizator Vistalizator - change display language in Vista Home and Business

Sadly, Vistalizator is not compatible with SP2 for now.

However I don't think Vistalizator will be more successful as it relies on Vista to install languages in Internal mode.

Incredible to say, I installed a lot of others language (finnish, japanese, arabic) and they all install fine. Just italian wont install... :-((( And I need that language.
