Every time the computer is reformatted, the clean version without the Service Pack is installed, does anyone know how to install the Service Pack, without hassle download the Service Pack from Microsoft, every time the computer is formatted?
May I suggest. Install Vista and the service packs. Install your software. Before any extensive use make an image with the free Macrium Reflect. Whenever you want to reinstall, your SPs, and software will be included on the image.
Are you using manufacturer's cds or a recovery partition? Either way it sounds like a service pack isn't integrated. Other than creating an image you can request an ISO with sp2. https://www.vistax64.com/general-discussion/296167-vista-iso-download.html The downside is that you won't get the manufacturer specific programs that come with your install. You will also need to separately install drivers. As an alternative you can download the stand alone service pack installers. You will need to download both sp1 and sp2.
