Re: Internet maximum sessions problem

Fist, is this a dial up connection or broadband? The first thing I would check is make sure you have all the latest updates from MS. Then I would check for malware, spyware, adaware and viruses. Next defrag harddrive and registry. Use more than just one or two programs because not one program can find and fix everything. Sounds like to me a bug of some sort with a corrupted registry. Try this and post back with results. If you need a list of some free software, check out the software section of this forum. Under that you'll find a sticky thread named "free software for vista", check out the list. Some really good apps.

Gabriel

There is always a solution.

try this run system file check. start, search, type cmd, type sfc /scannow . It will verify and replace system files.

If that doesn't work try a repair install from the vista dvd

If that doesn't work you may need to do a clean re-install

hope this helps

Hi guys.
I have a Asus laptop and the connection is wireless , I live in my boss house and I use the broadband free , I told him about this and he told he checked whit Zen ( the provider) and its not from them , I do have the latest updates , even today I had some update service pack 2, I have a good antivirus ( F-secure ) and I have been reinstaling to operating sistem a couples days ago and I recieve the same message.
I havent defrag the harddisk or registri.

I will try that to see whats happening ,

Ken: when I want to do sfc/scannow it tells me that only administrator can do that.

I wil try and log on as administrator .
Thank you ,I hope I solve something .
