Hi

I have a Hp Laptop with Vista Home Premium 32 bit. I recently downloaded the update of flash player which keeps freezing up and crashing when I try to stream video's, Then when I use Firefox I get a small window that pops up that says" "I need a plugin". then my FF crashes, and also if I use my Incredimail it crashes as well. So not sure what is really going on.

Do you have any ideas?

Thanks

I just did the basic's to make sure that everything else was okay. It just seemed like after updating Flash player and Adobe flash it all got starting acting funny like the plugin missing.

With filehippo it helps me stay up to date.

Uninstall, then boot the computer, and try the Microsoft Silverlight as a substitute.

You have to understand I cannot see or touch your computer, but must go by what you post. Your post indicates that the Flash update caused the problem. OK, start with a system restore pont which lets you put everything back in case of problems. Then get the firefox plug in. If it still does not work uninstall flashplayer. Boot the computer, if everything works ok use Microsoft Silverlight, it is a substitute for flashplayer.

Sorry that you still have the problem
Make a full anti virus scan
Download and make a full scan with Malarebytes.
Make sure that you have enough memory. (give me a screen shot of task manager and performance tab.

Run the Malwarebytes, too.
Make sure the A/V was updated when you did the scan and that it was the full scan. Ditto for Malwarebytes.

Okay I did what you have said. I am not sure what I am really suppose to be doing. Did you want me to try and download Java or delete old Java after doing the above?

I am not sure what you mean it might be a hardware problem.

The only things that you should be doing now
Is run a full anti virus scan
Run a full scan with Malarebytes. These scans would take around an hour.
If they are negative. Do the clean boot.
