You've got a thing for cats...

My friend came across a stranded orphaned cat only a week old. It's crazy to see him grow up... It's a shame the only pics of him when he was this cute are so blurry (from my built-in webcam).





















Thank god you can only upload 10 at a time, otherwise I'd have to get kicked off for flooding the server with so much pictures. He's just so cute to me. Today he's grown up a bit and likes to scratch a lot.

The world is divided up into cat-people and dog-people. I'm definitely a cat-person.

I have had both, but Im with you. I ran a poll on seven to see if there were more cat or dog ppl.

I think the computer-inclined tend to be more cat-people, but I'm not sure that's representative of the general population.

Last time I looked, which was yonks ago, the dogs were winning.

Its funny there are 2 polls dogs won one. Just squeaked by and the other cats won. so either we need a third poll here to break the tie or we just call it a tie

Cats are the best! They clean themselves, won't poo one your carpet, and aren't big enough to get in the way!...

zigzag 3143, You will have to excuse me popping in again to the cat domain, but as defender of the dogs I can't let that go unchallenged.
I've seen cats that are so big & lazy that they don't clean themselves, do get in the way & poo & wee inside where they shouldn't. My Lab is well trained & is very clean in all her habits .

Dogs are better behaved than cats. [& most of the "me, me, me" generation of children]
Never any food wastage when you have a dog
They provide mobility for the blind, companionship for the elderly etc.
Dogs are used in security to sniff out contraband - explosives - illegal food stuffs - drugs.
They are sensitive to your mood & act accordingly.
They help in medicine in the detection [sniffing ] of some cancers.
Dogs add security to your property.
I could go on & on, but won't.

Dog's work while cat's sit on their fat a***s.
Discerning dogs are a good judge of other domestic animals - they generally hate cats.

But there's one thing dogs just can't compete with cats. They're snobbish as hell. Cats are too good to worry about petty things like worrying about being a man's best friend. Just the way cats sit shows their royalty.

Cats own, dogs rent.. PLus when there is a meter of snow on the ground and jasper needs to be walked which would you rather have<g>
