New BlueScreen Problem - Please help!

Hello all,
My Dell Inspiron 1764 is about 6 months old. It was running slow all of a sudden and since had purchased the 3-year warranty through Dell, I thought I would have them check it out and see if anything obvious came up. I am very good about keeping files and pictures stored on an external hard drive, as to keep it from getting "cluttered." The Dell technical support remotely accessed my computer and attempted to try a few things. The only suggestion they gave me was to increase RAM. I currently have 4 GB of RAM and they said my computer can support up to 8 GB. Anyway, they also cleared all of my Temp APPLocal files and disabled most of the start up programs. Ever since they did that, if my computer goes into hibernate mode and when I try to get it out, it says the computer was shut down incorrectly. I am able to do a normal shutdown and I am also able to bring the computer out of sleep mode. The problem only occurs when I bring it out of hibernation mode. I copied the error message details:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:

BCP4: 0000000000000000
OS Version: 6_1_7600
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\090510-25396-01.dmp
C:\Users\Ane\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-49249-0.sysdata.xml

Another note, we tried to go directly to the file (the one right above....the WER file) and we were not able to open it. Once we tried to open it, the file disappeared completely from the folder.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! I don't even want to go to Dell again because I am afraid they do not know what they are doing. The problem did not occur until they "attempted" to make the computer faster.

Thanks!!
