0x0000000A: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Typically due to a bad driver, or faulty or incompatible hardware or software. Technically, this error condition means that a kernel-mode process or driver tried to access a memory location to which it did not have permission, or at a kernel Interrupt ReQuest Level (IRQL) that was too high. (A kernel-mode process can access only other processes that have an IRQL lower than, or equal to, its own.)

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: fffffa801d28dc9a, memory referenced
Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000000, bitfield :
 bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff80002497f76, address which referenced memory
Debugging Details:

Report indicates that the problem was caused by memory. Take this memory test. Run for at least 8 scans.
Download memtest86 and test RAM

If this turns out negative, my next hunch would be a driver problem, which we will discuss if you get another BSOD, after taking corrective action.

Thanks for that richc46 i let it do 7 passes, it came back with no errors, i also had a look in my event viewer, and the only thing that seems abnormal, aside from me causing some errors is this strange little fella, appears shortly before and after the two BSODs i had ,

"Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected."

Application
WMI
Event ID 10

to my little understanding, i would say that a 32bit application is trying to access system resources?

Although the report indicated that it was a memory problem, as you can see from the BC number a driver problem must also be suspect.

The suggested action is to update the old and the very old drivers. Due to the quanity involved it may be easier to update those with a date prior to 1/1/08 and take the driver verifier test. The test will cause BSOD and requires that you back up your doucments, pics etc.

In Addition:
If overclocking restore normal settings
SFC /scannow
System Files - SFC Command
Update outdated listed drivers. If I have inadvertently listed any Microsoft Drivers, they can be ignored.
Enable the Driver Verifier
www.sevenforums.com/crash-lockup-debug-how/65331-using-driver-verifier-identify-issues-drivers.html
Uninstall your current Anti Virus and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials.
www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/
Scan with your Anti Virus

How to Find Drivers
search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone - will help you search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- The most common drivers are listed on this page: http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.html
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: http://www.carrona.org/drvrdown.html
To remove any left over driver remnants, especially from graphics cards, use driver sweeper
www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/

After performing all of the above, post back with any new BSOD reports, or indicate that the attempted repairs were successful.
If any links do not work, if clicked, please copy and paste to browser address bar.
Remember that several attempts may be required before we can solve your BSOD problem. These reports are not definitive but merely point the way to a solution.

Thanks for all the useful information rich6!

iastorv.sys is for my RAID configuration, i believe its up-to-date

as for peauth.sys, it is a Microsoft service "This is the Protected Environment Authorization (PEAUTH) driver." - i believe windows update would update it if need be as i cant find any updated downloads from a quick search on google

similarly Null.sys is by microsoft, and i couldnt find any reliable place to download it - wouldnt Windows updater update it?

Also swenum.sys is by microsoft for PnP devices (also for DX .... come to think of it, i havnt installed DX11 will do so now)

secdrv.sys cant be updated as it runs off my DVDs programs / etc

i highly suspect that this indeed is the cause, the two BSODs happened while accessing the DVD / secure disk confirmation - free DVD application that it opens the program that i use sometimes overflows and leaks memory due to some WMI interference , ive read that disabling UAC will help prevent the problem by allowing 32 bit application use the WMI interface with elevated privileges, i have done so, and no BSODs as of yet (been 1 day since last)

however if i do get a BSOD i will be sure to post here :)
Thanks
(P.S which programs are needed to read .dumps / how to read them)

Ignore any Microsoft Drivers, I should have deleted them.
For widows 7 64 bit Debugger for dump reading. YOu will have to search for Vista.
If you return with BSOD, I will give you the driver verifier, since you have so many old drivers. You will have to back up your stuff.

These reports do not give answers, they give clues. The more we have to more clues. We checked drivers already, this one indicates memory. I used my best guess and went with drivers the last time around.
Take the memory test for 8 passes. It will be over night
Download memtest86 and test RAM

BC A, which is what you have is normally very easy to diaganose. Its either driver or hardware. In some situations it is the Anti Virus. As directed in my earlier post, uninstall your anti virus and use Microsoft Security Essentials, at least for testing purposes. Then come back if you have additional BSODs

Intall any new hardware recently
Make any changes?

The only changes i have recently made are adding an extra 4 GB of ram into my system, and setting up two HDDs in Raid 0
i am fairly sure that my raid 0 config controller by intel matrix is causing the problem, only because i had just realised the BSOD happened when indexing / using heavily my external HD which is connected to the intel controller, it either must be my Raid controller or 4GB of RAM failing, i might also add i have 6Gb in triple channel and 4Gb in dual - i usually clock them to the same freq / timings (6gb matching the 4gb) - but if the RAM was the cause, wouldnt it return errors on the memtest?

Also, is it possible to recover all my files lost in my external HD? windows says its "RAW" with 0 bytes of free and used space, and i pretty much cant do anything on my system if i dont have access to those files :(

Thanks

First do not install any programs until we get this sorted.

This error code was
STOP 0x0000001A: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT Usual causes: Device driver, memory, kernel

You said that you did the memory test the way I had asked, about 8 passes.
The driver in question this time is
rdyboost.sys, which is a Micorosoft Driver and most likely not the cause. I think we have to do the driver verifier test.
Run for 36 hours even if you get BSODs. As you get BSODs post them

Ok i got a BSOD...but its not in my dumps???? its really fast too

Ok i think it may be my DVD / Drive causing the BSOD because it only happens when i try to load something off it,

heres the drivers i selected in driver verifier

amdxata.sys
dump_dumpfve.sys
dump_iastor.sys
gdrv.sys
iastor.sys
rdyboost.sys ( i understand its by windows, but you mention it earlier so i thought id give it a shot)

and last secdrv.sys
