Bluescreen (BSOD)

Hello. Recently, problems like Blue Screen Of Death and sudden restarts or even suddenly the screen went blank happened once awhile in a day. Not that I never went to see other threads on this particular issue, but , I can't really figure out what many had written. In addition, I suppose there are different causes in different computer systems. In anyway, I hope someone could help me.

Here are the information my computer manage to show when it "recovered" from it.

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.0.6002.2.2.0.768.3
Locale ID: 18441

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 1000008e
BCP1: C0000005
BCP2: 82A70247
BCP3: 916D163C
BCP4: 00000000
OS Version: 6_0_6002
Service Pack: 2_0
Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini092810-03.dmp
C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-107968-0.sysdata.xml
C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Temp\WERF334.tmp.version.txt

Is there any solution for my case? Certainly I would appreciate anyone's useful help.

My Computer

Hello, it's you again, haha.
Hmm, mine is Window Vista Home Premium, running under 32-bit operating system. As for OEM, I don't know what's that, but if is Original Equipment Manufactured, it is Hewlett-Packard Company is the manufacturer. It all came when I bought around one year round or two years from then. I suppose the age of the hardware should be same too.

Well, here's the attachment, hope I did it correctly. Do help me analyse this data. It looks alien to me. =/

Look forward to your reply soon.

LOL you got me again. Not many members do detail BSOD work. Please note after Thursday, I will be unavailable for 3 weeks. I will leave a note that others should offer help after that date.

KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000008e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: c0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 82a70247, The address that the exception occurred at
Arg3: 916d163c, Trap Frame

Your reports have indicated 3 separate error codes, as shown above. All 3 have drivers as a possible cause, 2 show memory; I will concentrate on those areas.

The reports that you have submitted reveal clues to the cause of your problem. They do not give a definitive answer. The more reports that we receive the more clues are made available improving our chances of finding a solution to your problem. You may have to experience several more BSODs until the final answer is discovered.

If overclocking restore normal settings

SFC /scannow
System Files - SFC Command
Download memtest86 and test RAM
www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html
Update outdated listed drivers. If I have inadvertently listed any Microsoft Drivers, they can be ignored. If the list is extensive I have included a driver verifier test so that you can determine which drivers need immediate attention.

Enable the Driver Verifier
www.sevenforums.com/crash-lockup-debug-how/65331-using-driver-verifier-identify-issues-drivers.html
Scan with your Anti Virus

How to Find Drivers
search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone - will help you search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- The most common drivers are listed on this page: http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.html
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: http://www.carrona.org/drvrdown.html
To remove any left over driver remnants, especially from graphics cards, use driver sweeper
www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/

After performing all of the above, post back with any new BSOD reports, or indicate that the attempted repairs were successful.
If any links do not work, if clicked, please copy and paste to browser address bar.
These reports are not definitive but merely point the way to a solution. It is very important to remember that the dump reports only give clues as to the problem and although it is very easy to analyze only one or two, usually more are needed. If you experience additional BSOD after installing a current version of the driver in question, be sure to post so that we can use the additional information to assist you in preventing the BSOD's

Yeah, certainly not many members do detail BSOD work. Although it's slow for me to realise there is this "BSOD squad" under your name, I suppose you are another expert in this area too =D.
Okay, getting back to the topic. Everything seems complicated, however I will try my best to follow every information you gave. If I would to have any problem in the process of doing it, I will let post again in this thread to inform you.
Hope you can get back into business soon and once again, thank you.

Hi richc46, sorry for the late updates. It's was unbelievable. I guessed it was miracle. The thing is that my computer is fixed ; no sign of BSOD, no sudden restarts and black-out. However, the weird thing is that despite following as you instructed, i was sort of like half way through, but the computer is fixed.
The process is like this, I did the memtest on my computer (but I did with all my rams), then strangely there was no signs of errors or problems. Oh, before this, I also installed the malwarebytes' Anti-malware, which helps me to fixed some errors when I first run it. But there is still seldom sudden restarts occuring after that. Then out of no great solution left, I went to take out my rams, then put it back, all back to the same position. Then after this, my computer did not experience anymore problem. Weird huh?
I guess that's all of this problem i faced, it's solved! (in a unusual way). Anyway, if you have extra time to spare, could you list out some reason why my computer recovered?
I would like to thank you again for your useful information which helped me in solving my problem, thank you.

One or more ram sticks had to be reset. Good job in following instructions and getting it up and running.
