    Can't format Vista!

    Hi,

I'm trying to get rid of Vista and install XP on my Laptop since it is crazy slow with Vista. Everything goes well, booting from CD, extracting files but when it says "starting windows XP install" it goes Blue screen. I have never seen this kind of blue screen before and I wonder what to do next?

I took a photo of the screen: ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting

Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions

Guessing on my part but one cause of 7F is disc space. Have enough space for the install?
If that is not it follow the posting instructions.

Which part of the BSOD posting instructions is giving you the problem?
I need that report to diagnose.
Is this easier for both 7 and Vista?

I'm not sure what you mean. If I google the errorcodes it seems many others have had similar problems but I can't find anyone who have solved it. On Microsoft supportsites (search for errorcodes) it says that I should uninstall my sound-card.

    What info do you need?

    Re: Can't format Vista!

I followed the steps and got all the info. The problem is just that when i try to upload to the site (.rar file) it says "Invalid file" I tried them seperatly aswell but it does not work. Can I e-mail them somewhere?

Furthermore I realized that my .HTML file is in swedish but i tried to put some of it in google-translate and i worked out fine.
