Could this mean that the Recovery disk and image on hard drive aren't the same or would it even matter?

When you say recovery disc, if it is the disc that came with the computer; it would not matter.
A recovery disc if you are using the term correctly is an image of the OS and it can be used to restore your computer to factory settings. The OS on the hard drive is removed

The Vista OS that came with computer when purchased was lost and had to call Gateway and they recommended System & Recovery Disc(s), they send 4 disc's...System disc & 3 Recovery disc's, and did as instructed; System disc first then recovery disc's 1, 2, & 3 then System disc at end...Reboot and windows does it's thing but then Blue screen...hopefully this explains it

Based upon all that you told me this is the most that I can do; give you an explanation of 3B
STOP 0x0000003B: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION Usual causes: System service, Device driver, graphics driver, ?memory

Based upon the information that you have the BSOD can be caused by the above. If it is a memory problem, all the DVDs that you have will not help.

There is only so much that I can do, you cannot boot without getting a BSOD.
I can suggest you try to go to safe mode and then system restore and go back to good times.

If it is memory problem even with system restore, you will still have the problem.

so does using the Recovery discs help resolved earlier problems before using the Recovery option? I used Recovery disc but the same problem exists; Driver_IRQL shows up again, I took a stick of RAM out and tried it that way but with no luck. I was able to boot in Safe Mode but couldn't do any configurations, say something about DLL Kernel 32.dll I know it has something to do with Dynamic Library but that's as far as I got.

If its memory or other hardware the disc will not help. The disc is only for sofrware problems.

Driver IQL, may indicate a driver problem. You can be installing the same driver with the CD. I need the dump reports. All this is just guessing.
I need to know which DLL. That is in the report.

Would deleting iaStor.sys. from command prompt do the trick? if so...would you give me the steps in doing this?

I really do not know if deleting that driver will solve your problem, but if you want to try
Drivers are located in
C:Windows>system32>drivers
Do not delete, merely change the extension to .bup. In the event that you have problems, it will be easy to restore
Be advised, I do not know what effect this will have on your OS.

IASTOR.SYS is a driver used to control the SATA disks, usually for raid systems but still used in normal single disk setups as well. It should NOT be removed.
